Forde has been commissioned to create a piece for Auckland University’s Science Department. It will consist of 15 jarrah pieces and be titled ‘Whakapiki Matauranga’ (meaning “rise up to learn”). It will be installed at the end of January 2013 in the Tuakana Teina Centre.
