This piece was commissioned for the 2014 Harbourview Sculpture Trail and named ‘Te Atatu Revisited’. It sold for $9000 and is now placed on a stunning site overlooking Whangaparoa Peninsula. During the exhibition, Forde was interviewed for Maori Television, seen on Seven Sharp and Good Morning. He also secured another $9000 commission – a significant proportion of which will go to the Hospice Trust – a cause very special to the Forde Whanau.
